Results that the United Arab Emirates achieved in education and attraction of big international universities could represent a useful example for education development in Montenegro, President of the Atlas Group Dr Duško Knežević and Minister of Culture, Youth and Social Development of the United Arab Emirates  Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan concluded at a meeting in Abu Dhabi.

 

 

During his recent visit to Abu Dhabi Knežević, who is also President of the Mediterranean University and Atlas Foundation, expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Mubarak Al Nahyan for the UAE support to initiatives for strengthening education in Montenegro. As a confirmation of that, Knežević reminded of the recent study visit of Atlas Alumni best student Filip Marković, who visited universities in UAE in May this year.

 

 

During the meeting, Sheikh Al Nahyan, who is also President of one of the leading banks in Emirates, United Bank Limited and financial group Abu Dhabi Group, which is a large investor in Pakistan where it owns a bank and several leading telecommunication companies, expressed his interest for investment in Montenegro. In that context, he was interested in final works on Atlas Capital Center, the first big UAE investment in the Western Balkans. He expressed his gratitude for the honor that was given by opening the street in Podgorica named after Sheikh Zayed, father of the UAE nation.

 

 

Knežević and Mubarak Al Nahyan also attended the charity ceremony of Red Crescent organisation at the palace of heir to the throne  H.E. Mohammed in Abu Dhabi.
